Shipping policy

When Shipping Isopods there are two options:

OPTION 1: UPS 2 Day Air. There is no Live Arrival Gurantee with this option. With this option we can ship to your nearest UPS Store (just a normal UPS store, does not have to be a hub) as we can usually select an early AM delivery. The nice thing with doing this is that your package is sitting in a temp controlled environment until you pick it up instead of sitting on a truck that is not temperature controlled for a longer period of time. Usually UPS does charge $5 - $10 to pick up if you do want us to ship to a nearby UPS Store. If you want us to ship to a nearby UPS Store please put which one in the notes section of checkout.

Option 2: Overnight to a Fedex Hub. This option is Live Arrival Gurantee (LAG), meaning if there are dead pods, we will re-ship at our expense. If you choose this option, please put which fedex hub you want us to ship to in the notes section of checkout. If you do not know your nearby HUB we will reach out to you and figure it out. Usually packages are delivered to the hub early in the morning before 10:00am, though they are at the hub far earlier, just may take them till 10am to scan the item confirming it is present.

In order for us to honor the LAG policy, you need to get your package within a few hours (1-4) from the Hub and then record the entire opening of the package and opening of the pods. This ensures that the packaging was still intact and also that the isopods were in fact dead on arrival. Failure to not provide a video of the opening of the package and then the inspection of the pods and showing they were DOA, will negate the Live Arrival Gurantee. 

 

WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE A FEDEX HUB NEAR ME, OR IT IS VERY FAR AWAY??????

If you are in the situation where there is no FEDEX HUB near you, there are a few options:

1. we can ship NEXT DAY UPS AM. This allows packages to be delivered before 10am thus limiting the amount of time the package is on a truck until it is delivered. There are two caveats to this though. The first is this costs us more to ship so there will be an upcharge of $10-20 (depending on how much more it is to ship to you via this method) that will be invoiced and expected to be paid before your item is sent out. The second caveat is when you go to pick up the item, UPS charges you $5-$10 to pick up the package. The pro of this is that we can send the package to any UPS store, just let us know the address of the UPS store closest to you in the notes section or shoot us an email at bcomushi@gmail.com and we can discuss this option further.

2. We can ship to a nearby normal Fedex location, not a Hub, as we are able to select early delivery, before 10AM. You MUST confirm that the nearby Fedex location accepts packages and live critters. If a package is rejected and returned to sender due to refusal, your order is forfeit and either subjected to a 50% restocking fee if the pods arrive to sender alive or no refund what so ever if pods are DOA.

3. We can ship to your work/ business as the same things holds true with the other options, businesses are able to receive early deliveries. But once again, if a package is denied or gets delayed to not being able to be delivered because no one was able to receive the package, LAG is forfeit. Additional if it is returned to sender a restocking fee will be charged - a 50% restocking fee if the pods arrive to sender alive or no refund what so ever if pods are DOA.
