Ardentiella "Tri Colors" and "Dirty Scarlet" isopods look the same. These get their name from the fact they have three colors - Black and Yellow striped with hints of Red, i.e. three colors. Dirty Scarlets are born from Scarlets but happen to turn out looking like a traditional Tri-Color, which happen to be their own species. At BCO Mushi we keep them together so it is unknown which you will get. "Dirty Scarlets" do have the potential to produce scarlets, though it is super rare.

Diurnal, which means they are active during the day. This makes them a desirable isopod. Note that the care for these are a bit more involved than your typical isopod as they like to climb, so need some verticality and need mossy bark, good ventilation and humidity.
