Armadillidium Maculatum “Yellow Zebra” isopods are a striking morph known for their bold yellow striping and lively, curious behavior. These are a morph and so to help keep their yellow color vibrant we recommend foods with carotenoids, such as sweet potato. These are a pretty hardy species and fast growing.

Environment: Yellow Zebras are found more so on the surface then burrowed in the substrate. As such, the substrate does not have to be as deep as cubaris. Lots of leaves and cork bark hides help these critters feel protected. As usual they need a mossy zone as well.

Food of Preference: Anything really. It seems these eat whatever.

Behavior: These do best in a well‑ventilated setup with a clear moisture gradient, allowing them to choose between damp and dry zones throughout the day.
