Cubaris murina “Papaya” isopods have a warm peach‑to‑papaya tones and smooth, uniform appearance, hence their name. This pod is an excellent choice for keepers who want a hardy, fast‑establishing isopod with standout coloration.

Environment: These are a burrowing species so make sure they have a deep, nutrient dense substrate. They also need plenty of hides and nice mossy area. These can be kept dryer than Duckies but make sure to not let substrate get bone dry. 

Food of Preference: Anything really. To help keep coloration we recommend Fluval Color Enhancing Fish Food

Behavior: As is typical Cubaris, these are night time critters. They are more active at night and they also will scurry, but not all.
