Cubaris "Rubber Bee" isopods are a visually striking tropical isopod featuring bright white coloration contrasted with bold black and yellow banding. These are slower breeders compared to Panda Kings. Size wise they are in-between Rubber duckies and White Sharks, not as big as a duck but bigger than a shark.

Environment: Rubber Bee isopods thrive in humid setups with plenty of leaf litter, smaller pieces of cork bark, and calcium sources. Like other Cubaris, they prefer stable temperatures, high humidity, and a well-maintained moisture gradient for optimal health and breeding success.

Food of Preference: To help keep coloration we recommend foods with carotenoid, like sweet potato as well as Fluval Color Enhancing Fish Food

Behavior: As is typical Cubaris, these are night time critters. They are more active at night but you can see some out and about during the day. These are not as shy as Duckies, but like most Cubaris they are active at Night.
