These Isopoda sp. "Shiny Gators" are cute and also smaller than your traditional pods, i.e. these are a dwarf species. Here at BCO Mushi, these were the first exotic isopods we purchased. Remember... while they are adorable, they are adorable in size, i.e. small, though our adults seem to get pretty sizeable for a dwarf species. Care for them is pretty easy for an exotic species. Isopoda sp. Shiny Gator FAQ:

Environment: They love the underside of cork bark, a covering of leaves and a bit of moss. Mist mossy side about once a week. They are smaller so you can have a smaller environment.

Food of Preference: Leaves. One minute they love KUDZU, the next minute they love Asian Orchid Leaves. A thinner leaf and giving them variety. They also love fish food. We recommend Fluval Color Enhancing Fish Food

Behavior: These Generally will come out more at night/ like to hide under bark. A few can be seen during the day.
